Police are set to reveal more details about a woman who they say was sexually assaulted in Rittenhouse Square early Friday.
The woman, who is in her late 20s, told police that attack happened near 18th and Walnut streets around 1:35 a.m. Friday.
Police described the attacker as a man around 40 years old with short hair, a heavy build and who stands around 6 feet tall. He wore a gray t-shirt, jeans and blue underwear at the time of the attack. Police didn't announce any immediate arrests and were expected to reveal further details at a Friday afternoon news conference.
