The man was rushed to hospital following the incident.
A number 7 service was travelling along Balmore Road when a car pulled out suddenly in front of the bus, 'forcing' the driver to 'brake sharply'.Emergency crews were called to the scene around 1pm.A spokesperson from First Bus confirmed the incident, claiming the driver was 'forced to take evasive action'.
The spokesperson said: “We can confirm an incident took place on Monday, January 16 at approximately 12.10pm on Balmore Road when the No.7 bus was forced to take evasive action after a third party vehicle pulled out in front of the bus before braking sharply. "The police were in attendance and we will continue to work closely with them to assist in their investigation.”
