'Members of the public restrained the suspect'
Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses after a reported stabbing in Belfast in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Detective Sergeant McCartan said: "Members of the public restrained the suspect, a 37-year-old man, before police arrived and arrested him on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent."He remains in police custody at this time."I know there was a large number of people in the area at the time and I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the stabbing, or have any information to come forward.
