Man rams multiple cars, two police vehicles in National City [Breaking]
A man rammed his Jeep into several cars, including two police vehicles, Monday in National City, according to police.
The incident was reported shortly before 6:30 p.m. near Mile of Cars Way and Wilson Avenue after a witness flagged down National City police officers , police Cpl. Daniel Scanlon told OnScene TV.Advertisement When officers arrived on the scene they learned the man had rammed the Jeep into seven vehicles, including two police cars, Scanlon said.
The man abandoned the Jeep and fled, running through a strip mall and then onto Interstate 5, where he was stopped and arrested, Scanlon said.The incident is under investigation.
