Tarik Hussein, 27, of Plymouth Grove in Longsight, is due to stand trial in July
Tarik Hussein, 27, appeared over videolink at Manchester Crown Court this morning . He is charged with the murder of 56-year-old Esmaeil Tofigh.
At the hearing held before Judge Alan Conrad KC, Mr Hussein pleaded not guilty to the offence of murder.Emergency services were called to a property on Plymouth Grove in Longsight at around 5.20am on February 5. Mr Tofigh, was pronounced dead at the scene. A trial date has been set for July 31, with a further case management hearing to be heard on June 23.Read more of today's top stories here
