The drone crashed inside the prison’s fenced-in yard and was recovered by staff, according to court documents. Law enforcement found the drone’s controller and other accessories as well as 18 smartphones and drugs in the Chevrolet a few weeks later after the SUV was abandoned on a Dallas highway and towed to an impound lot. A debit card and Social Security card in the SUV had Henderson’s name on them, court documents say.
