A pickup truck driver died Friday morning in a crash on I-580 in Richmond.

RICHMOND — A man died Friday morning after his pickup truck went down an embankment on Interstate 580 and crashed into a tree, the California Highway Patrol said.The crash happened about 6:50 a.m. Friday on westbound I-580 east of the Harbour Way offramp.
