A 61-year-old New Jersey man was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday night on White Horse Pike in Atlantic City, authorities said. Pearl Matthews was riding east near mile marker 54 when he veered off the road and struck a pole at about 8:40 p.m,Matthews, of Pleasantville, was thrown from his bike and pronounced dead at the scene east of Delilah Road. No other vehicles were involved.
