Man killed by ex-girlfriend's current boyfriend at Pecan Park Denny's
Police at the scene of a Denny's in the 6900 block of Gulf Freeway, where a man was killed by his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend Apr. 17, 2022.A man was fatally shot by his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend Sunday after they got into a fight in the parking lot of a Denny's in Pecan Park in southeast Houston.
The man met with his ex-girlfriend early Sunday morning and the pair got into an argument about 1:25 a.m. at the restaurant in the 6900 block of Gulf Freeway, according to Houston Police Detective Ana Hernandez. While Denny's management called police, the woman's new boyfriend showed up and the argument escalated in the parking lot. He eventually pulled out a gun and fired a shot at the man, killing him, Hernandez said.The alleged shooter was taken into custody and charges are pending.
