Swatara Township police said kidnapping and assault charges against the 36-year-old are pending.
A Virginia man was arrested early Friday morning after he assaulted and kidnapped a woman in Dauphin County, police said.
Swatara Township police said Charles Wilson, 36, of Roanoke, forced the woman, also a Roanoke resident, into an SUV after a domestic dispute. Before the pair were found, police said Wilson could be trying to head back to Virginia on Interstate 81. It’s unclear exactly where they were found. As of 6:15 a.m., police said Wilson is in custody and the woman who was allegedly kidnapped is safe. Police said kidnapping and assault charges against Wilson are pending.
