Man kidnapped, assaulted, and driven around by suspects who demanded cash: Toronto police.
Police said a group of suspects approached a man in the area, took his car keys, and stole his car before forcing him into another vehicle.“The suspects threatened to assault the victim if he did not give them money,” police said in a news release issued Friday.
On July 8, three days after the alleged kidnapping, police said one of the suspects was arrested and charged. On July 29, a second suspect was arrested in connection with the case. Police are still searching for a third man believed to be involved in the case and an image of the suspect has now been released to the public.
