A MAN has been sentenced for serious sexual offences in the Scottish Borders.

Aaron Swan, 39, was handed an Order of Lifelong Restriction on Friday, with a minimum of 6 years imprisonment, at the High Court in Inverness.

Detective Constable Jessica Laycock said: “I hope this sentencing provides some measure of closure for the victims. “If you are experiencing abuse, or know someone who is, please contact us direct or through our partner agencies.
