Connor Chapman, 22, was remanded in custody
A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of 26-year-old Elle Edwards. Connor Chapman, 22, of Woodchurch, appeared at Wirral Magistrates' Court today and was remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday.
He faces further charges of possession of ammunition with intent to endanger life, and handling stolen goods, listed in court documents as a Mercedes A Class vehicle, reports the Mirror. Merseyside Police said Chapman has been remanded in custody and will appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court. Tributes have poured in for the beautician after her death on December 24, with friends and family speaking movingly of the 26-year-old. Elle was described as "beautiful inside and out" by her sister Lucy, who shared a touching Instagram post on New Year's Day.
