Police say the incidents happened at a village in Tzaneen between September 2021 and February 2022.

Meanwhile, Galeshewe police in Kimberley have arrested a 51-year-old male suspect for allegedly holding his girlfriend hostage and repeatedly raping her.Police say the suspect is also charged with malicious damage to property. Northern Cape police spokesperson Cherelle Ehlers says the suspect will appear in court on Wednesday.
“It is alleged that the victim was held by her boyfriend from 13 July 2024 until 14 July 2024, when he allegedly raped and assaulted her. It is believed that the suspect released her on 14 July 2024.
