Man found stabbed to death in East Village apartment
SDPD officers were called to an apartment building in the 600 block of 14th Street just after 10:45 p.m. Wednesday after a man reported finding his roommate covered in blood and unresponsive.
Police added: “As officers cordoned off the crime scene, a female in another apartment flagged down officers from her window. She appeared frightened and passed notes to officers on the street below that her boyfriend was acting violent and strange. That male was detained at the scene for a domestic violence-related investigation and as a person of interest in the homicide of the male in the apartment complex.”
While the motive in the incident has not been determined, the attack “appears to be random and unprovoked,” according to police.
