A man was found dead inside an SUV Sunday morning in a residential area after neighbors reported hearing gunshots, Houston police officials said.
The 42-year-old man reportedly had an argument with a woman and her son around midnight and shortly after neighbors heard gunshots, Sgt. Mark Holbrook from the Houston Police Department told On Scene reporters.Neighbors did not check out what was going on until early Sunday, when the body was found in the 8000 block of Bucroft Street, Holbrook said.The man lived nearby with his mother, Holbrook said.
Holbrook described the neighborhood as a quiet, active adult community with elderly people living in the area.
