Police were called on Sunday to the scene on Plane Tree Road, Little Harwood. When officers arrived they found a man in his 40s unresponsive.READ MORE: M6 closed after huge fire
A spokesperson for the force said: "We were called around 12.30pm on Sunday to a report of a sudden death in Plane Tree Road, Little Harwood. "Emergency services attended with a man in his 40s found unresponsive. Sadly he was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be passed to the coroner in due course."
