INDIO, Calif. — A man was convicted Monday of killing two police officers and trying to kill six others in an ambush-style attack.

After just hours of deliberation, a Southern California jury found John Hernandez Felix guilty of multiple charges including two counts of murder and six counts of attempted murder,Palm Springs Officers Lesley Zerebny and Jose"Gil" Vega were killed responding to a call about domestic violence at Felix’s mother’s house on Oct. 8, 2016.
