Manchester United will head to Wembley to face rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup final later this month
Referee Andy Madley has been picked for the 2024 Emirates FA Cup final between Manchester United and Manchester City at Wembley later this month.
United and City will go head-to-head in the final for the second season running. United progressed to the final after a penalty shoot-out win over Coventry City last month. Erik ten Hag's side came away 4-2 winners on spot-kicks after blowing a 3-0 lead in normal time. For City, Bernardo Silva scored the only goal against Chelsea in the other semi-final.

He told the FA: "It's an absolute delight and honour to receive this appointment. "Domestically, it's the biggest game of any referee's career, the one we all dream of when we complete the referee course. I can only imagine what it will be like to lead the two teams out in front of a sold-out Wembley.Madley has refereed United and City three times this season each. Harry Lennard and Nick Hopton will be the assistant referees and Simon Hooper the fourth official.
