Date published: Wednesday 19th April 2023 10:29 -Man City are reportedly ‘preparing to offer’ Erling Haaland a new contract amid ongoing reports linking him with a move to La Liga giants Real Madrid.
The 22-year-old has been in stunning goalscoring form this term as he has netted 47 times in 42 appearances across all competitions. Haaland’s deal is not up until 2027 but the report claims Man City ‘are keen to extend his time at the club to reflect his stellar first season in English football, and there is a belief that the Norway striker is open to fresh talks’.
One of Haaland’s ‘ambitions’ is to eventually play for Real Madrid but he is ‘extremely happy’ at Man City at the moment.
