Manchester City leapfrogged Arsenal into top spot after defeating Luton Town 5-1 in Premier League action on Saturday afternoon.

The home side just needed a minute to find the breakthrough when Erling Haaland's acrobatic effort deflected off Daiki Hashioka on its way into the top corner. While Luton struggled to carve out chances, City would have went into the halftime break quite frustrated after failing to increase their advantage in the first half despite dominating all the possession.
The third goal would arrive in the 75th minute when Haaland calmly dispatched a penalty after Wilfred Onyedinma had fouled Doku in the area. the Man City striker has now scored 20 league goals this campaign.
