Manchester City striker Liam Delap could be in demand this summer, with an update provided by his former loan club.

Delap finally found his feet at Hull this season just gone, scoring eight times in the Championship either side of a frustrating injury setback around the turn of the New Year. "If we didn't have Financial Fair Play and EFL regulations he would have literally invested in him and tried to buy him. You know how he is, he's very passionate for football, very passionate for improvement and we like him so much. Delap has two years left on his City contract and would be worth a decent amount of money after his Hull loan if the Etihad club decided to sell – and he is probably at his most sellable this summer.
