The man will appear in St Albans Crown Court

Abdi Guiled, 32, is accused of intentional strangulation in Watford on July 3 as well as assault, threatening and coercive behaviour between February and July this year.

Guiled, who lives in Cullington Close, Harrow, denied the charges over video link in St Albans Magistrates' Court on Monday, July 4. He will be kept in custody until the trial, which is currently scheduled for August 1 at St Albans Crown Court.
