Rape charges brought against man after sexual assault at Lincoln business
Waheed Ali, of Boultham Avenue, Lincoln, is set to appear at Lincoln Magistrates Court today.Lincolnshire Police's Protecting Vulnerable Persons unit launched an investigation and Ali was arrested at 9am the next morning.Police believe that the victim and suspect knew each other.
A spokesperson said:"Our investigation remains ongoing and specialist officers are working with the victim. "If you’ve been a victim of rape or sexual assault, please report it as soon as possible. Even if you’re not 100 per cent sure, we’d sooner hear from you so that we can make sure you’re safe. If you’re not ready to talk to the police just yet, that’s OK.
