Michael Hicks has been indicted on six counts of insurance fraud against the city of Montgomery.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - A grand jury has indicted a man accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from the city of Montgomery.Court documents did not say how or when it happened, but they indicate Hicks allegedly stole up to $410,000.The alleged fraud was caught by the attorney general’s office during an unrelated investigation.
The city sent the following statement on the arrest: “Mr. Hicks works for a third party vendor of the City of Montgomery and his alleged theft of city funds was discovered by the Attorney General’s Office during an unrelated investigation. The city fully cooperated with the AG’s Office during the course of their investigation and will continue to cooperate moving forward.
