A 30-year-old man is facing theft and trespassing at night charges after Summerside police responded to a report of a man rummaging through a vehicle on North Market Street. On the night of Sept. 7, Summerside Police Services received a report from the public that a man was rummaging through a vehicle on North Market Street. A suspect was identified, and officers later found and arrested him on Granville Street. As a result of the arrest, several items were seized. The man was released from custody and will be appearing in court at a later date facing charges of theft and trespassing at night.
