CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Charlottetown police have arrested a 31-year-old man in connection with an armed robbery at a business on University Avenue on Nov.
Officers were called to the robbery at around 6:15 p.m. Police said a man entered the business armed with a pair of scissors, opened the cash register and took money out of the till.
He left without further interacting with staff. Although shaken up by the incident, police said no employees were injured.The suspect was located Saturday evening and arrested.The accused is scheduled to appear in provincial court on Thursday.
