Emergency services raced to the scene last night

Emergency services raced to West Graham Street last night, July 2, at around 10pm after they received reports of a crash.

A picture of the scene shows a red car with its bonnet caved in after it was allegedly driven into the pedestrian barrier and left the fence and island in a heap. One witness, who came across the aftermath, told Glasgow Live that three police cars and an ambulance crew were in attendance.The male, who was apprehended, is due to appear in court at a later date.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10pm on Sunday, 2 July, 2023, we received a report of a crash involving one car on West Graham Street, Glasgow. A man was arrested and is expected to appear at court at a later date."
