Geoffery Ives was found dead in his flat in Hardfield Street, Heywood, on January 29 this year. Police found the 75-year-old's body following a ‘concern for welfare’ call the same day.Mr Hall, of Hardfield Street, Heywood, was remanded into custody until the preliminary hearing date to be heard on May 12 at Manchester Crown Court, Crown Square.
