A cherished member of the community, and a much loved couple
Lincolnshire Police were called to an address in Long Bennington at 12.40pm on Tuesday, August 8. A man was found dead and a woman was taken to hospital, where she subsequently died.It is understood that the deceased are Dennis Hampson, founder of Hampsons Car Rental in Newark, and his wife of around 30 years, Diane.Dennis is described as a well-respected man within the community and he has held a number of directorships under the Hampson name, including Hampsons Self Drive Hire.
Lincolnshire Police said:"We are treating the deaths as unexplained, and our investigation is ongoing."
