A man and his dog have been injured in what has been described as a "vicious attack by two bulldogs".
The 63-year-old victim is reported to have suffered a string of injuries after the alleged incident in Milngavie, East Dunbartonshire, on Sunday. Meanwhile the dog is said to be undergoing treated in a veterinary hospital. A 50-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court at a later date. Two dogs have been seized by police and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
Several police cars were reported to have attended the scene on Graham Drive at 2.45pm before paramedics attended.She said: “I have had the highest ever number of communication since being elected in May 2022 regarding dangerous dogs in the area and the most recent attacks.
