A man was caught on camera struggling with the police after he allegedly hit a taxi driver over the fare in Punggol.The 64-second video was posted by TikTok userHe captioned the video:"Another fare evader who hit and hurt a poor taxi uncle. Worst part was he had a flight the following day... say bye-bye, holiday."
Riduan wrote in the comments that he was at his window and heard everything."He was shouting a few times: 'I have a flight tomorrow at 11.00am.' It could be heard very clearly."In response to a Stomp query, the police said they received a call for assistance at Block 256A Sumang Walk on July 8 at about 12.05am.
The 26-year-old man was arrested for drunkenness in public places and assisting with investigations for voluntarily causing hurt.Police investigations are ongoing.
