The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of Jacob Blair Scott.
A military veteran who allegedly faked his own suicide to avoid prosecution for the rape of his 14-year-old stepdaughter has been added to the U.S. Marshals' 15 Most Wanted Fugitives list.
Scott, 43, is facing a 14-count indictment that charges him with sexual battery, touching a child for lustful purposes, and exploitation of a child, the U.S. Marshals said in a news release. Deputy U.S. Marshal Katrina Crouse previously told Denver7 that authorities found the discovery suspicious as only a small amount of blood was found.
