Mamelodi Sundowns forward has found a new home, as he looks set to complete his fourth consecutive loan away from Chloorkop.

In preparation for the new season, Usuthu is aiming to build upon their 11th-place finish last year with strategic player acquisitions and departures. The club recently bid farewell to key players such as George Maluleka, Augustine Kwem, Veluyeke Zulu, and Victor Letsoalo, the latter of whom moved to TS Galaxy. Of note, Kwem departed despite finishing as AmaZulu’s top scorer with eight goals in 28 games last season.
According to sources familiar with the deal, AmaZulu views Mamelodi Sundowns target man Ighodaro as a crucial addition to fill the void left by Letsoalo and Kwem. The club anticipates a standout season from Ighodaro, provided he maintains his fitness and avoids injuries.In addition to securing Ighodaro, AmaZulu FC has bolstered their squad further by welcoming Luvuyo Phewa on loan from Sundowns.
