A goal from Jayden Adams and a brace from Tashreeq Matthews inside the first hour saw Sundowns romp to a comfortable victory, and keepPirates too, collected a win on the night with their 2-1 victory over Sekhukhune United away. It means Sundowns maintained their six-point cushion at the top of the log, ahead of their meeting with Pirates on Saturday.“We have steps to go forward. Today there were lots of young players and players that have just arrived at the club. The team has to grow, but that does not mean we’re not in a good place,” said Cardoso after the match.“The result in the end may give us the idea that the match was simple, but the match was not simple.
