On Sunday, 23 April, Malaysian marathon runner Mohd Syahidan Alias made history by completing the 2023 TCS London Marathon in full traditional baju Melayu, earning himself a Guinness World Record.
In his Instagram post, Edan expressed his satisfaction with his performance, saying, “Mission accomplished! We achieved the mission in under three hours as the Guinness World Record holder for ‘Fastest Full Marathon in Traditional Malay Dress ’ with a time of two hours, 49 minutes, and 22 seconds!”This was not the first time that Edan had achieved a Guinness World Record.
