Malaysia's liabilities to cross 80% of GDP in 2022 - finance ministry

KUALA LUMPUR : Malaysia's debt and liabilities is estimated at 1.5 trillion ringgit for 2022 or more than 80 per cent of gross domestic product, the prime minister's office said on Friday.

The government is committed to ensuring that the ratio of liabilities compared to GDP is under control, it said.
