Malawi and Israel have signed a new deal for Malawi to send unskilled laborers to Israel.
Blantyre, Malawi —
Currently, Malawi is expected to send about 3,000 unskilled laborers to work on various agriculture farms. Most of the workers will replace Palestinians who no longer work in Israel because of tensions sparked by the war between Israel and Hamas. Kunkuyu said some of the laborers in Israel told the delegation that some agents were not honoring terms and conditions in the contracts they signed. There was a problem processing your submission. "The Ministry of Labor will have to develop a plan and make sure that they understand the agreements, they are properly briefed, they know what is expected of them when they get to Israel. So, this is what the Ministry of Labor is working on at the moment," Tembo said.
