Makwana doesn't want any 'drama and noise' around his departure from Eskom

Outgoing Eskom board chair Mpho Makwana says it would be in the interest of the flailing power utility if there isn’t any further"drama and noise" about his pending departure.

The relationship between State Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan and Makwana deteriorated sharply in recent months, News24 Business report earlier this month after it was announced that Makwana would leave his post at Eskom’s AGM at the end of October. One of the disagreements between the two has been the selection of a new CEO for Eskom.South Africans need to be in the know if we want to create a prosperous future.
