The Springbok winger may be uncertain over a starting position in the 2024 Bok squad, but through his Makazole Mapimpi Foundation, he’s doing great things off the pitch. Announced this week, the Makazole Mapimpi Foundation is giving back to the community in the Eastern Cape with the help of Mercedes-Benz South Africa .

The release states the Makazole Mapimpi Foundation is, “Dedicated to fostering inclusive community by championing youth development in various fields. With a steadfast commitment to nurturing talent, the foundation hopes to cultivate a generation that succeed against adversity.” “We are thrilled to partner with Mercedes-Benz South Africa in our mission to empower the youth and build stronger communities. Together, we will harness the power of collaboration to drive meaningful change and create opportunities for the next generation,” said Mapimpi.

“We see immense value in supporting the dreams and aspirations of young South Africans. Through this MMF collaboration, we hope to provide resources to the youth for future success,” said MBSA’s Abey Kgotle. Both organisations will leverage their respective strengths to empower local youth to reach their full potential.
