Most kids won’t be in class in-person Friday if education workers, not including teachers, walk off the job like they’re threatening to do.
They’re trying to negotiate a new contract with the province and have asked for annual raises of more than 11 per cent. Under the province’s proposed deal, those making less than $43,000 per year would receive annual raises of 2.5 per cent while all others would get 1.5 per cent annually.
