The Princess of Wales will not be present at the rehearsal for Trooping the Colour next weekend due to her ongoing cancer treatment, it has been confirmed.
Kate's schedule has been completely cleared for this year while she undergoes preventative chemotherapy treatment, following her diagnosis with the disease in February after abdominal surgery, the Mirror reports. Tickets were being sold on the official website for the military spectacle, advertising an appearance by the Princess of Wales with a picture of her on the site - however, it was taken down hours later.
In other news, Buckingham Palace has confirmed that King Charles will participate in the main Trooping the Colour ceremony next month and will inspect the soldiers from a carriage.
