A spokesperson for the police said: "Good morning, officers are on scene and dealing with a road traffic collision on A583 Blackpool Road near the Lea Gate Beefeater. The road has been closed on the Preston bound side. Please plan your route accordingly to avoid the area if possible."Traffic is slow on the road and the road is closed because of the crash on the A583 Riversway Eastbound from A584 Preston New Road to A5085 Blackpool Road.
