Magnolia prevailed, rolling to a 5-2 win at Magnolia West High. It was the fourth consecutive win for the Bulldogs.“It’s definitely a great finish to district,” said senior Michelle Polo, one of three Bulldogs who found the back of the net. “We really wanted this.” “I’m so proud,” second-year Magnolia West coach Heather McCallum said. “They have more fight than any team in the whole district. Not all of our girls come to West as soccer players. A lot of them pick it up. But they love the game and they’re the hardest workers any coach could ask for.”
