Maggie Rogers just took the sheer trend to a whole new level
For her take on the “Gilded Glamour” theme, Maggie donned a vintage-inspired two-piece gown, which featured a completely see-through crop top delicately tied to a floor-sweeping black ball gown skirt with subtle sparkle at the hip. The sleeveless top was embellished by pearls and patterned details but sheer enough that you could see through it. In a bold move, Maggie opted to go braless under her red carpet look.
The musician let the top and skirt be the focus of her Met Gala moment and wore minimal accessories: bold dangling earrings graced her ears and she donned two slim silver bracelets. A pearl cross belt on a pearl chain was the perfect finishing touch for her ensemble.As for her hair and makeup, Maggie wore her short-cropped cut in a classic pixie and rocked a slightly smoky cat eye makeup look, with minimal color on her lips.
