Magesi join race for Stellies midfielder

Mgaga is set to leave Stellenbosch next month after the club decided against keeping him going into the 2024/25 season.The 28-year-old joined the Winelands-based outfit two seasons ago from Baroka FC and went on to win the Carling Knockout, where Steve Barker's men defeated TS Galaxy in the final Durban earlier this past season.
According to a source close to the player, Sekhukhune are currently leading the race to sign the former Bakgaga star. Mgaga turned out for Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, before moving to fellow Limpopo side Baroka during the 2020/21 season. He later linked up with the ambitious Stellies at the beginning of the 2022/23 campaign after Baroka were relegated to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
