Mae Muller isn't afraid to speak her mind, and she wants to show fans that you can be 'outspoken'. The Eurovision star in the past called out the government over nurses' pay. Despite criticism online, she's not going to stop speaking out.

The icon, who has grown a cult following since being announced as the UK’s entry, has gained a lot of support over her sharing her outspoken views online, but as always with social media, Mae’s received her fair share of criticism.

She’s previously called out the government over nurses not getting a pay rise and free school meals, while also branding J K Rowling ‘annoying’.Ahead of taking to the stage on Saturday, Mae told Metro.co.uk: ‘I think it’s such a privilege, especially as a young woman, to be able to speak my mind and have an opinion.Mae called it a ‘privilege’ to be able to speak her mind
