He further recalled:"When we took the difficult decision to undertake the mission, I knew that I wanted to be there myself, and we scrapped together pretty much any information that we had.
"Some of the footage of Mike on the mountain I had never seen before, because that was Dave Rodney's footage – I didn't know him. "Obviously he had shown the footage to my family but I was just a kid, so it's the first time I'd seen Michael on camera ever – we never made home videos as a kid, and the film was almost possible because of being able to mirror that 1999 journey with our own.This content is imported from Twitter.
