Marks and Spencer customers horrified at £4 'strawberry in reverse' snack
A new Marks and Spencer food line has got shoppers wondering what they can do next - because it's a bizarre new kind of white strawberry which doesn’t taste of strawberries. Some described the whole idea as "totally wrong" while others wondered if it was an early April 1 gag.
Kim Marshall wrote: “Apparently these taste like vanilla and pineapple- I’d like my strawberries to taste like strawberries- I’m old fashioned like that!” Chris Eaves said: “They look horrid and I bet they are tasteless. However, so are the red ones at this time of the year. No doubt someone with more money than sense will buy them but whatever happened to fruit and veg in season?”
