Lynne Lund is seeking the Green Party of P.E.I. nomination for Summerside-Wilmot. - FileSUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Summerside-Wilmot MLA Lynne Lund has announced that she is seeking the Green Party of P.E.I. nomination for District 21, Summerside-Wilmot, to run in the next provincial election.
She also serves as chair of the standing committee on rules, regulations, private bills and privileges and was the past chair of the special committee on climate change. “There are many examples of issues that have been brought to me by constituents that I’ve fought for in the legislature, including advocating for the new Harbourside Medical Centre and supporting seniors facing large rent increases."
The act was the first of its kind in Canada and has contributed to the national conversation around the abuse of NDAS.
